Thank you Gloria. It sounds like we have the same set up. Like you, I have wrapped all the cords in the same direction. I have lined up the harnesses to the direction lines written on the main posts by the Leclerc company and by doing so, the heddles line up with the front breast beam. I have also checked for any interference on the lamm tie ups and things seem to be quite ok. The only thing I can think of is to order new cords to replace the ones that I think have not been changed since 1971. They are all the same length, but maybe they have stretched? I have not yet dressed the loom and will not get to do so till after Xmas. Do you think that when the warp is on that maybe it will get the tension needed to balance everything out? I truely am at a lost on this one. Your thoughts are appreciated. Feel free to share more of your insight. Elaine
