I am looking at the various (limited number!) of handbuilt wheels and would like to get the wheel of my dreams but can't travel far and wide to try them all out. I am looking at Wyatt wheels, Watson wheels, Carson Cooper wheels, and Aldon Amos wheels. They all look nice, I see models from each maker that would suit, prices really vary from the lowest being Carson Cooper's to the highest being the Wyatt wheels. Am I really going to get that much more terrific a wheel by getting the Wyatt saxony at $1200 than I would get with the Carson Cooper 24" canadian at $577? I mean, they both look well done and both makers sound like they know darned well what they are doing when it comes to building wheels. Is it a matter of who has the better-known name or is one truly twice as good as the other?
