Are there any other linen spinners in Central Indiana that I might converse with?
Or any other linen spinners out there that have some personal "tricks" that they would share, I would like to hear from you.
I do not have a flax holder yet, but I saw a picture of an old Scotswoman spinning on a castle wheel like mine, with the flax wrapped around the top of a wooden cane that she had tied with ribbon to the upright on the back of the wheel.
I will try that at a festival this weekend and see how it works!
