Wow -- 90 degrees -- not a pleasant temperature for spinning.
Several years ago, my Daughter brought me a souvenir beach mat from Hawaii. It's about 2 1/2 feet wide
by 6 feet long. I always take it with me when I'm spinning outside -- it keeps my spinning wheel from
coming in contact with wet grass or soggy earth of any kind.
Maybe you can try dressing the distaff and spinning with flax on a much cooler day during the fall sometime!
