Hi all,
I'm a historical reenactor and I'm very interested in spinning. I've found several books I can order through the bookstore I work at, and was wondering if anyone out there could let me know if any of these books would be good for a beginning spinner.
Spinning & Spinning Wheels by Eliza Leadbeater
Care & Feeding of Spinning Wheels by Karen Pauli
Alden Amos'Big Bk of Handspinning
Weaving, Spinning & Dyeing Bk by Rachel Brown
Hands on Spinning by Lee Raven
The Spinner's Companion by Bobbie Irwin
and
The Whole Craft of Spinning by Carol Kroll

Also if anyone could recomend any resources on 18th century spinning and spinning wheels, or any information on affordable 18th century style repro wheels, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Val
