Cristina, You are not the only one up-sizing! I recently purchased a used Cranbrook 72" 8 harness. My old loom is a Harrisville 36" 4 harness. The Cranbrook is fabulous! You could quiet down your jack loom by replacing the steel heddles with Texsolv, they make a variety of lenghts, there should be a size available for just about any loom.
