Dear Weavers...
I have the opportunity to purchase a Newcomb Floor Loom for only $250, and I need a little help...I don't know anything about weaving or looms (just a small knowledge gap, however, I am familar with the basic process and I do sew, knit, needlepoint, etc. so I'm familar with the terms...I can also fix almost anything...provided I have a picture of where i'm headed..
So, with that preamble, if your friend was going to look at a loom and she knew nothing about them, what questions would you suggest she ask the current loom owner?
