Hi all. I just purchased the jumbo plying flyer and bobbin for my majacraft rose spinning wheel and have a question. Has anyone used this new flyer? When I use it, the wheel is very noisy - I think the noise is from the cord that goes around the bobbin rubbing the bobbin. Nothing on the wheel is rubbing as far as I can tell and I lubricated the shaft with vaseline before plying. It also seems to require more vigorous treadling. Any ideas? thanks.
