I received a spinning wheel over the holidays and have just started to learn to spin. In spite of having some experience with a drop spindle, so far I seem to either under twist my wool or grossly over twist it.
For under-twisted wool, is it possible to take it off the spool and re-spin it? If the answer is yes, would it need to be recarded, a.k.a. start from scratch?
