I can get Spinning for Softness and Speed, but I don't know what edition it is. It was published in 1982. No luck with "Handbook or Rural Skills". If you could roughly describe what a wool picker does/looks like, I'll have a look at the other spinning books while I'm there. Won't be able to get there before Wednesday, though.
