hi there, I have an older 6 treadle 4 shaft harrisville loom. each treadle has 2 hooks for tie up. i'm warping the loom for honeycomb dishtowels which requires 3 shafts to be tied to a few of the treadles. my question is: can i just tie 2 shafts onto one treadle hook? and if so, do i have to be concerned with the length of the cords or can they all be the same length.
