I have tried spinning Soy Silk, both by itself and carded with some white wool. It spun nicely, and I enjoyed spinning the wool blend better.
I recommend looking for the Plant Fiber Sampler, so you can try a little of each (bamboo, INGEO, Soy Silk, Ramie top) for a small investment.
