I have only woven a little sampler on my BEKA Frame loom. However,
a tip I have learned about (and my Guild is offering a class for this) is to
use a "dummy" warp, to conserve your handspun. Don't give too much waste to the "loom gods!" :-)
I understand that you warp a 1-yard long dummy warp, dress the loom back to front,
thread the warp through heddles and reed according to your draft, and then
you tie your precious handspun warp ends to this warp.
I will be doing this soon, but I have a bit more yarn to spin for my upcoming project. (I'm making a vest)
Good Luck and Happy Weaving!
