Debbie, get material for weaving from old sheets, cut strips about 2" wide, backs of old blue jeans, cut that about 1" wide, cut up old tee shirts about 2" wide. If you use yarn for weaving, double the strands as you put them on the shuttle. Try to locate a craft guild in your area and see if they have someone that weaves in their guild. There are different web sites that offer blue prints for building your own loom. If your school sends out newsletters to residents see if you can post a note stating that your class is looking for a loom. Good luck
