I am in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia... and recently aquired an amazing abstract taperstry. It is roughly a metre long... In the middle of the work is a giant white orb with yellow spider-web like features through it (hard to explain). It is signed "jan schmidt" and dated in the 1970's (im not sure when...) Does anyone have any information regarding the artist Jan Schmidt? Please contact me.
