Cranbrook 45" Weaving Loom for sale. $1800. I am the original owner. If you are interested please feel free to email me for more information or more pictures. Model # C4580. Bought it new in 1983 from Pontiac Michigan. My wife used it for a year or so, made about 20 wool and cotton rugs, I still use a few of them at home. We took excellent care of it. We then took it apart and it has been boxed up and stored in my house since then. I have just reopened it. It is in excellent condition and has barely been used. It is made out of rock maple with a nice finish on it. There is a metal Cranbrook Loom emblem with serial number on the front of the beater. It is very heavy and the shipping weight was 500 lbs. I still have all the paperwork, shipping invoice, assembly instructions, Cranbrook catalog, etc.

Here is more about it(copying from the catalog): It is a 45 inch loom and has 4 harnesses and 10 treadles. It has 8 harness capabilities (more harnesses could be added later as a feature on Cranbrook). Maximum weaving width is 46", Inside width of loom is 49". Size 63"wide X 57"deep X 64"high. Lrs-45 stainless reed - 12 Dent, SKW Skein Winder(maple, ordered from Cranbrook) , SKI - 18 Ski shuttles, 1000 Cord Heddles LE 11 C, a warping boardframe that fits on the wall(also ordered from Cranbrook), there is a picture of it in one of the photos. Counter March harness System with chain hookup, Floor Loom, Treadle Locking Feature, Suspended Tool Shelf, Built in spool rack attachment, Cast Bronze warp and cloth beam ratchet gears, Pawls, and Beater hanger racks, Treadle separator Bar, maple comb, coated steel tubing Tension Bars(Front and Rear Breast beams), Laminated Warp and cloth beams to eliminate warpage, Kiln dried American maple with funiture quality laquer, Heavyweight overhead swing Beater, with vertical and horizontal adjustment to include adjustable Pull Bar to allow variations in reed heights, 16 warp separator sticks to ensure even tension, 1 3/4 inch laminated mortise and tenon joint constructed side frames, too much to type, etc.

If you need even more accessories you can order any part or accessory ever made for a Cranbrook Loom from Schacht Spindle Co. If anyone needs more information or pictures, just email me. I can also scan off the original diagrams and papers if anyone wants. I have quite a few pictures that I took when I first set it up and I can take pictures of it disassembled. Weighs a lot so you'll have to pick it up. Or if you're less than a couple hundred miles I'll deliver. Located near Atlanta Georgia in the north georgia mountains close to Helen Ga. 15 minutes from an expressway. It will fit in a pickup truck as it is disassembled. The finish is still in excellent condition and there are no repairs made to this loom. a new one with these accessories and shipping cost around $6000 dollars. I want $1800.
