I want to buy a loom to use for weaving rugs. I will be doing mostly weft-faced weaving, some tapestry and some warp controlled designs. I want 8 shafts. Also, I want to be able to use the loom for other projects such as tablecloths, etc. I am considering the Leclerc Nilus II with the back hinge treadles. I would appreciate any comments, suggestions or recommendaitons for a loom which would fit my needs.
