I have had a scholes loom for about 2 years. I was told by the previous owner that it was designed and made by Linda Scholes in Littleton Colorado. The previous owner had the loom for about a year and never wove on it. She gave me a phone number and e-mail to contact Linda with questions. I got no response to messages left on the phone nor to e-mails. It has taken me a while to adjust the lift system. I replaced many of the nuts with lock nuts and now the loom weaves beautifully. I find the piston system a bit time consuming to change the tie up, so I tend to set it and weave several projects with the same weave structure. Don't know anything else about the looms, nor if all the looms Linda designed are the same.
