Quality, experienced production weavers needed to weave 50-200 pieces in 10/2 cotton, 24 EPI, 24 PPI, approx. 70" x 55" (even wider is better), by October (!). Must have excellent weaving skills, keep a consistent beat, even selvedges. Please respond privately with:
1) a few pictures of your work (with visible selvedges)
2) approx. cost estimate per piece (labor only -- I'll supply the yarn).
Assume for cost estimate that the weave will be something like a broken
twill or modified satin weave (no overshot) and will be mostly solid with
some weft-wise stripes (all solid warp).
3) number you can weave by Oct. 15 (assuming will begin Sept 1 - yes, I know
this is a ridiculous time frame, but I just received the request, and I
can't possibly fill it myself).
