A few weeks ago I tried out Queen Anne's Lace and got a rather drab dark yellow but it sure was fun to try. I am sure it will make interesting pattern on mittens or in a weaving. So I got to thinking . . . I have grown beautiful Amaranth in the past (the very tall, brilliant maroon type) and a volunteer popped up this year. I'll harvest the seeds for use for dying some of next year's wool. Has anyone tried this plant?
