I am a very inexperienced weaver and am starting to feel totally pathetic. I am trying to weave a set of placemats and table runners using a pattern from Handwoven's kitchen collection book. The weft is alternating shots of 3/2 cotton and mop cotton. The directions are "interlock the wefts consistently to weave good selvedges." Can someone explain how to interlock the wefts? I have never changed weft yarns without ending one and starting a new one. Thanks for any help.
