I recently inherited a Herold Loom with a sectional beam, 4 harness, 6 treadles, 45 inch width. After spending time removing rust, dust and repairs parts, I was ready to put on a narrow warp. I found the loom difficult to warp, compared to my Schacht. The reach to thread the heddles was extremely uncomfortable. Any suggestions to make this task easier? I also do not have an instruction book, maybe that would help. Considering the time it took me to put on this first small warp, not sure I want to tackle a wider warp.
