I know your post is old, but thought I would just let you know that I have a patrick green carder (almost brand new) I used maybe 10 times for carding alpaca fiber that I would love to sell. I paid $2600.00 new from Susan's Fiber shop around June 2008 and would take $2300.00 and I would pack and pay freight. If interested drop me an email. This is an awesome machine, it is electric, comes with pin, brushes, etc., and can card up a storm. I know lots of other people that use it and they also love theirs. I am going back to full-time real world job and just do not have the time to card my own fiber anymore. I just sent off all my alpaca to the mill to have them process it into roving. Looks like my wool vacation is over for a little while. Thanks!!
