A trick I learned many years ago from an old Danish weaver is that fresh newsprint repels moths. It's something about the ink used on newspapers. You can wrap your wool yarn or woven goods in this before storage and the moths will keep away. It will last a season; old newsprint doesn't work as well. If you're concerned about the ink getting on the material, you can wrap it first in plastic, and then put fresh newspaper around that. And it doesn't leave a nasty smell on your material. For this to work, use newspapers that you can smell the ink on. Don't use glazed magazine paper; that has clay in it and doesn't work. Meg
