We do a lot of wool washing and felting. Always careful of the moth issue. We wash all wool as it arrives at the farm in hot, soapy water. That shrinks and felts it(if feltable). Next we add a tablespoon or two of liquid Tide to the rinse as a mothproofer. Don't know how it works, but it seems too so far. Was recommended to us by other folk who do a lot with wools.
