Darline , You have found the right place for your drum carding cloth . Howard has manufactured carding cloth since 1866 . For the fiber artist we offer 5 different wire densities referred to as tpi / or points per inch in four widths 8", 10" ,12 " and 14 " .The wire densities offered are 54 tpi , 72 tpi , 90 tpi ,120 tpi ,190 tpi . The 72 tpi and 90 tpi are used most often for carding Suffolk& crosses . The 120 /190 are used for processing the finer fleeces( Merino , Rambouillet ) . All products are shipped from stock and are sold by the linear foot . The 54-90 in 8" widths cost $44.00 per linear foot and the 120-190 cost $46.00 and $53.00 per linear foot .
