I had a question about the application of tung oil and laquer to shifu as a means water proofing. I can't seem to find any documentation or instructions on how to make shifu and other paper water proof, beyond the fact that tung oil or laquer are used. If anyone has any knowledge of this or ideas as to where I might find it, it would be much appreciated.
