I have an older Bexel Cranbrook that is not easy to change. It is a weird system that has one set of marches permanently hooked to the shafts and only 1 set of marches will pivot like a normal Countermarche. Chains go through the marches (not in between them, actually through the wood) in various combinations to the treadles, and it is hard to change the chains anyway, and I can't imagine trying to do it while already weaving cloth.

As it is a 4 shaft, and since I have been unable to get parts for 4 more shafts and 8 more marches, I intend, when my current obligations are woven, to set it up with a skeleton tie up, and just use 2 feet all the time.

Beautiful loom, and a WONDERFUL shed, but not easy to change the set up at all.

Wish I had a Glimakra! (anyone out there want to trade?) Ha-Ha.
