Hi Loretta:

In 1990 I purchased a used 32" Pendleton Loom. My understanding was that it was made by Mr. Pendleton at Mary Pendleton's shop in Sedona, AZ. Around 1980.

It is a great little loom; I have changed the treadle tie-ups to plastic pins systems (Texsolv system) like my larger Glimakra but made no other changes.

I have on occasion folded it with a piece on by loosing the tension and then releasing the sliding nuts on the castle sides.

It seems to work best with lighter cottons so weaving towels and table mats is fine. I just completing weaving a shawl with bamboo from Cotton Clouds, and found that the metal heddles created some raveling issues.

Jane
