As a seasoned weaver with only one 8 harness loom I question your need for multiple harnesses. I myself am 60 years old and suffer from arthritis, but each additional harness should increase to some degree your trompforce necessary. I have a wonderful 4 harness Bexell that is STURDY! I also have Leclerc, Harrisville(2 36 inch 4/6) a Neucomb 4/6 and that harrisville 8 harness. A portable loom will only as hardy as its structure. If you see arm or foot coordination as a real possibility then make the loom work for you- I,m sure that Harrisville looms could instill weights in the beater(overhead that is too help there) Food for thought anyway. good luck email me if I can be of help. Oh, do you do any double weave? as an art teacher I find so much is available with four harnesses there.
