I bought some dyed wensleydale wool and spun it loosely for softness and to keep the colors clear. It is nice for knitting, almost like knitting with roving, but I'd like to weave a scarf with some of it. Has anyone spun and woven with Wensleydale? If so, about how many wraps/inch and twists/inch did you spin to. Did you ply or not? Any advice on using Wensleydale for weaving would be appreciated.
