I had a subscription to SpinOff and was very dissappointed in the magazine as a new spinner. The magazine seems to have very little for the new spinner and over half the magazine is ad after ad of ads for spinning wheels. I actually sat down to count the ads. On 150 pages, 75 pages were either 1/4, 1/2 or full page ads. Ads are ok, but there are only so many spinning wheels on the market and it is page after page of Ashford, louet, kromski, etc photos and photos and photos. You get tired of looking at the same picture of the same wheel. Yes ads pay for the magazine, but I would rather spend more money for the magazine and get more information on spinning. Just my two cents worth
