I'm new to spinning, but have a little bit of experience and would like to purchase an inexpensive wheel that nonetheless spins well. I'm interested in the Babe Production Wheel because of its price and convenience for travel. (I think I prefer the larger wheel to the Babe Starter.) I will be spinning mostly sport- to worsted-weight yarns for lace knitting, but not exclusively. Not a lot of bulky yarns, most likely. Has anyone tried this wheel, and does anyone have any comments on it? Thanks for your help!
