Now I have not woven on a Glimakra, but at my weaving course there were always a few Glimakra Ideals left standing idle because other weavers and the instructor said they were very difficult to weave on because of the treadle height and your knees hitting the bar--I have long legs. I was wondering if anyone else had come up with the same discomfort on glimakra looms. I also find them so big and overpowering in a room. I have a Hollandia 130 (52 inch) precursor to the Delta model, you can fold it up against the wall and even though it is large it isn't overbearing.
