Raw Alpaca Fiber for Sale

Will send a digital photo of a fiber sample and of the animal it came from (to judge color).
If you’ve never worked with alpaca, most prefer to spit it first, wash later. Alpaca has no lanolin. When you wash 1 lb. of “dirty” alpaca, you get 1 lb. of clean alpaca – there is no weight loss.
I hand-clean all my fiber (usually before I shear the animals) and remove all seconds. You’re buying usable fiber only.
Price for most fiber is $25 per lb (you pay postage). If you’ve never seen what one pound of alpaca looks like, I can send a photo – it’s quite a lot!
