try Northwest Looms. they handbuild their looms (even the shipping crate is beautifully-made) and I have their 8-harness "Frieda" Although the shed is a little shallower than I am used to, it's a great loom. very sturdy and smooth.
The prices are actually better than comparable Leclerc and Schacht.
