I have an old Structo loom that I don't know much about, so I'm just looking for some help. The front rachet was in bad condition; kept losing tension with it. A friend had a replacement that seems to work better. My problem is that the old beam was wooden, the new one is metal. I can't keep the warp tight on the metal one (even though it's "new", it's really old). I'd appreciate any information anyone can give on how to weave the metal one without losing tension.
