I'm just learning myself. I've purchased a few looms that need repair and one small NL table loom. I'm in Michigan and they have a nice set up at the wool processor in Frankenmuth (zwool.com). They have someone weaving pin drafted roving rugs from the wool they process. It is on a cone and about as thick as an index finger when it's been woven. They use their spun yarn for the warp and then machine wash it when it is done to felt it all together. They are nice and thick and feel like a plush berber carpet. I've made a sample using some of my wife's dyed roving and it came out pretty well.
