I'm a somewhat new spinner, and recently I was given some really dirty wool. I was wondering if it is worth all the work to clean it. This wool seems to be the "left-overs" from skirting. It is two years old, has fibers of different lengths, a little brown mixed in with the white, and lots of VM. I picked through it already and found some of the better wool, and was considering just washing the rest outside in a tub and see what could be done with it. Any words of wisdom or suggestions?
