Union Loom Works was a fairly prolific company. It is my understanding that they produced about 400,000 looms. They were made so solidly that I believe 399,999 are still in use. They were produced for home use for rag rug weaving. They were easily mastered due to their simple, two harness design. They are not in great demand except by those who are exclusively rug weavers. Advanced weavers can do a little more with them however there are many, more versatile looms out there at very reasonable prices. Union looms have been selling on ebay for approx. $150-$250. The problem is shipping is so expensive for large items that you are forced to limit your auction to a local audience. I own a Union Special loom and I am a rug weaver. Send me some info and photos. I might be interested, depending where you live in NE.
