Louet Spinning Wheels - Plastic cord problems

I have two Louet spinning wheels purchased in the late 80's.
1 - The first problem is with a traveling wheel that came in a case, unfolded and created a wheel. There was a "U" shaped piece of clear plastic that applied tension, to spin the wheel. This plastic piece cracked in half and now the wheel is useless. Any suggestions on how to purchase a replacement or what to use as a replacement?

2- I also have an S-10 from the same generation of wheels and the clear plastic piece that connected the threadle to the bar, which is then connected to the wheel, also broke in half and I am trying to find something to replace it with.
Again, any suggestions?

Thanks,
