Hi Jill

Sorry for the late reply. I just gave birth to a baby girl on the 20th of March and didn't check the online discussion board till today April 6. My machine is practically brand new as it is hardly used. I have no idea how old it is but I can show you a photo of it. It is in extremely clean, excellent condition, no cosmetic flaws and in perfect working condition. My husband installed a new sponge bar on the machine. All original accessories come complete with the set. The patterns are all intact and never used. EVerything is complete and there is an instruction booklet. I believe Singer made the machine in the 90s and stopped production until the Silver Reed Line took over and reproduce it under the Silver Reed name. This machine will knit all kinds of bulky, chunky and worsted 2 ply yarn and even thicker. There are 5-6 degrees of chunkiness that the machine will take. It is the only bulky lightknitter ever made. Other Singer machines only knit lace weight or medium yarn. I only truly used the machine twice before my husband gave me a bigger machine for my birthday. I will be happy to ship it to Australia but need to know your exact physical address in order to calculate exact shipping. Please email me at dkeeney@houston.rr.com as I have the photograph stored in my family computer; I am currently on my laptop.
