try these web sites: joyofhandspinning.com or icanspin.com they both have videos of spinning. It sounds to me like you could probably just "finger spin though. No need to make a spindle - though a piece of wire with a hook bent at the top might make it easier for you. Just grab a pinch of fluff from the bundle - then pull and twist at the same time. This is called drafting. You should be able to get a length long enough for a bracelet like that.
