I found this antique loom dismantled in a barn loft near Mt. Vernon, Missouri and bought it thinking I would find time to learn about looms, put it together & play with it. DUHHHH!! No one ever accused me of not being ambitious and or unwilling to try new things!

My hubby needs the space in the garage so I need to sell it. I would be very happy to simply recover my money on it and this is the first place I've offered it for sale. From reading your bulletin board I can tell ya'all know your fiber tools.

I was told it is all there but I know nothing about looms so please make your questions very simple.

The loom has big iron brackets that have faded green paint but there are no brand names on it. The cylindrical pieces are about 4 to 5 foot long so I think it will be about 6 feet wide when it is set up. Some of the wood needs to be replaced but it is in original condition & I think you could use the broken pieces for patterns. The wood originally was red but is faded.

If you're interested in it let me know & I can email photos. And if anyone has any ideas for other places I should advertise please let me know. Or websites where I can find photos to try to identify the manufacturer of this loom. Thank you.
