I have a walking wheel for sale. I don't know too much about it, but from some pictures I have seen, it looks like the tall Distaff part is missing. I has a spot for the Mother-0f-All to be placed into. The Mother-of-All has two holes that are closed up with something that looks like rope, since it is soft. The part that the flax would turn on (I guess the spindle) is missing also.
The part where the Distaff would go has two pieces of wood with a hinged larger piece of wood that rotates. It looks like there is a nail or screw in it, probably where something else attaches to it, probably the larger distaff.
If this is something someone is interested in, please let me know.
