I found this site while searching for a way to replace my loom shuttles. Does any one have a clue where I can get them? The Lily site was unhelpful. Living in LAncaster Ohio-- there is just no store around here that has them, or knows where I can get tehm. I found a message from someone saying she "also needed directions for the loom." That makes me assume there is at least one other person on a quest. Now THAT I do have-- it will take me awhile to find them if anyone still needs (basement disasters, plumbers trashing the place and things getting separated, life chaos, etc.) but they are "around."
I am DESPERATE for the shuttles. ALso, does anyone know if there is more than one pattern book? The one I have is from the original loom which I bought at summer camp in 1974. Now I am itching to start doing them again-- in fact about 8 months ago I bought some cool yarn, and that is when I discovered that teh shuttle was not where it was supposed to be. If you post a reply, please also send me a personal message at my home e-mail, in case I don't get a notice from teh site to check. ANyone needing the directions, well, it is going to be a couple of weeks before I can really start to look, and it could slip my mind so you have PERMISSION to NAG me (please do--at least every 10 days or so until I remember that this is really important and make it a POINT to find it. Anyone who prays-- feel free and perhaps they will fall into my hands and I will be able to get them to you in case you had Christmas plans, but please don't get too hopeful-- I am dealing with a family member (Dad) who is sick and will be called upon at some point to help with post-surgical recovery, so getting the patterns to anyone in time for Christmas may not be feasable (without Divine Intervention, of course!).
