I'm making loosely-woven scarves, so yes, the sett is low. But even so, isn't there a way to prevent this? The mohair yarns I use are so hairy that they hold themselves in place, but chenille yarns, for instance, come out from just one yarn, which won't harm the weaving, it just doesn't look totally professional to me. Even though I have asked others opinions, and they say it doesn't bother them at all, and is just part of a hand-woven item. Have you ever heard of anyone tieing off from one color to the next? Although, I guess loose yarns are preferable to little knots in a soft scarf? Thanks for responding.
