CAN THIS MODEL BE CONVERTED FOR MORE TREADLES?
This place has given me many places to check out....and a lot of advice !
My wife just had a Union Loom #36 shipped from Pennsylvania. Her Mother sent it (We now have a folder with orig envelopes full of samples, sales receipts, other companies offering things and order forms and things like that). Mother in-law used it...my wife used it...they both gave it up.
Damaged in storeing....and got a little more damage during shipping to Alaska.
now It's my job to get it together and functional. So on my part, I thought I would look around and ask a few questions.
I have to make new parts and such. Some are easy enough to make. we are not looking for resale....we are looking for Function. Alaska is a hard place to get things for. have seen in this Board information so I can get started.
Any info as to places for supplies for the actual weaving would be greatly appreciated. I want to Surprise her.
Wife is so excited about seeing the Loom (Even though it's in pieces...and didn't come by Railway) :-)
