Macomber floor loom,64" width, 8 harnesses expandable to 10, 1" LeClerc sections on the warp beam (can be removed), ratchet brake system for tighter warp tension.

Pictures of this loom can be seen here:

Skip the first nine pictures, those are of a different loom. (see my previous message if you are interested in the 40" loom also pictured here.) The next eight are of this loom.

It comes with the Macomber bench, lea sticks, and TEN reeds (some stainless steel, some regular).

Reed list:
width: Dent:
------ -----
64.5" 6, 16
64" 15
61.5" 10, 20
60.5" 8
60" 12
56" 13, 14, 8

The beam under the sections is the original Macomber beam. Although the ratchet brake is currently fitted on the back beam, the original friction brake comes with it, and could be reattached if that is your preference. (The extra tension caused by the extended sections was too much for the friction brake.)

One owner, bought in the 1980s.

The price is $2,600, (including the ten reeds) and if you buy it, you must pick it up from our house in the Lowell area of Massachusetts. It is quite heavy, although two people can lift it if you remove all the beams and harnesses. You will need a truck.
