This loom and bench are in Excellent condition. Loom is a 4 harness, 6 treadle model. Bench is tilted slightly toward the loom for ease of use. The set up size of the loom is left-to-right = 47-1/2” plus take up handle (5”), Front-to-back = 34”, Height = 37”. Back beam folds so the Loom can be moved through doorways. Stainless steel reed is perfect. I learned to weave on this Loom back in the pre-Internet days and found this to be a very easy loom to learn on. With the vast amount of information available on the Web, it would be much easier for a beginner these days. I stopped weaving a few years ago and we have been using the Loom as an attractive piece of furniture. Gilmore looms have been in production since 1936. It has solid Maple structural construction with Poplar hardwood in nonstructural areas of the Loom and Bench. Loom is located in Springfield, TN (about 30 mi. north of Nashville). Pricing is based on buyer pickup in Tennessee. Arrangements could be made for shipment but this would have to be prepaid.
